Many different groups have found creative ways to support Mossy Foot Project in the past. Recently, student at Oaks Christian Middle School made a much needed contribution through their creative efforts.
Trina Moore Southall, the Dean of Students, saw Operation Change’s video on the work of Mossy Foot Project in Ethiopia and was so impressed, that she showed the video to the 6th graders.
After viewing the video, the students decided to adopt Mossy Foot Project as their class project and invited Sharon Daly, Mossy Foot Project President, to visit their class and share more with them.
To support Mossy Foot Project, the students conducted a recycling campaign during which they collected 700 pounds of cans. They also put together a talent show and by selling tickets, raised another $1,000.
We are so thankful for young people like the 6th grade Class at Oaks Christian who catch the vision of how working together can result in significant blessing to others!
